Romani rights

During the first half of the 20th century the cause of Romani’ rights were pursued by individual activists. In the latter half of the century, local and international Romani organisations were established and began collaborating on these issues. Aims were the right to education and to human rights, and to maintain and promote Romani culture. Romani organisations began political campaigning at the highest levels, demanding that their voices be heard.
