Deportations from Rumania

In Rumania the fascist Iron Guard came to power. Romani people and Jews were deported from Rumania to Transnistria in western Ukraine without being permitted to bring any of their property. When, two years later, the deportees were brought back to Rumania, half of the Roma population had died of famine and illness.
